| Centerhotel Thingholt is a new hotel located in Reykjavik’s city centre, housed in a renovated printing factory. At Centerhotel Thingholt there’s a strong focus on quality modern design inspired by Icelandic nature. During your stay you will be treated to a friendly and personalised service and are assured of serene and restful accommodation in a refined atmosphere. The design of the rooms is modern, yet classic, where natural materials and colours are used. Some rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor have excellent views over the city centre, the harbour, the bay and nearby mountains. Inside you’ll find leather floors, state of the art furniture and salmon fish skin tiles on walls in the lobby. On the left hand side when entering there´s a long black wall with lava like texture. Attached to it are black masks representing the hidden people of Iceland and a small waterfall trickling down over them. Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00. Early breakfast is available upon request on departure day from 04:00. Restaurant Domo is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Domo specializes in Asian-European fusion cuisine. The hotel has 3 bars; the hotel´s lobby where you can have coffee 24/7, one in the basement of the Domo nightclub where there is regular live music and a dance floor and there´s also a bar at the Domo restaurant the restaurant Located next to Reykjavik’s main shopping street, Laugavegur, the hotel offers an ideal location for exploring the historic centre; shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, nightlife and main attractions can all be found within easy walking distance. |
