Comment: Nice location and only a few guests end of February. Definetly the best resort in the area Pulau Kapas / Gemia. Room rate was 260 RM. The special rate with all meals and snorkeling is more expensive than the normal room rate, snorkeling and meals a la carte. The restorant has a good choice (we spent a week here). The spa is good, not cheap, but the only one in that area. The rooms have everything you will find in more expensive resorts. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen is doing everything for you. The internet was for free. I definately recommend that resort, but do not go in peak season, because the island is very small and has only two beaches. There is always drinking water available for free. Speed boat four times a day; every 2 hours starting from 0930 cost 40 RM. Snorkeling equipment RM 20/day. Kajaking 15 Rm/hour. Their is only one dive center on Pulau Kapas. 100 RM per dive incl pick up service from Gem island. The islands are good for relaxing and water sports.
